Trumbull National's U8 team defeated Fairfield Red, 10-1, to capture the 2016 Trumbull Tournament Championship at Unity Park on Saturday.
After going 3-1 in pool play and earning the No. 2 seed, Trumbull National defeated Trumbull American and Monroe on its way to a final’s matchup with No. 4 Fairfield Red.
