Bellows Chiropractic unbeaten in Babe Ruth play

With strong pitching, outstanding defense and a powerful offense, Bellows Chiropractic defeated Huntington Glass 11-1 to remain unbeaten at 11-0 in the Trumbull Babe Ruth League.

Jacob Uber pitched four solid innings to earn his fourth victory. Bellows set the tone for the game in the first inning, when center fielder Jake Chamberlain threw out Huntington Glass’s Dylan Gagnon at home plate with catcher Robbie Schlatter  putting on a good tag.

For Bellows, Chris Lifrieri and Will Guttman each had two hits and Ralph Malagise has a big hit to lead the offense.

Shortstop Kyle VonSchleusingen, left fielder Lee Foo and right fielder Alex Gay all made outstanding plays to lead the defense.

In other action, Adam Miller Insurance Agency defeated Drew Design, 7-6.

Jared Rosen struck out six in six strong innings of relief, Dylan McCaffrey and Jacob Miller excelled defensively and Will DeFusco had the game-winning hit.
