The victory was secured by the Ballaholics thanks to 22 points from Johnny White and 13 from Donald Epifano. Leading the game in scoring overall was Dan Corica from Gulash and Riccio with 23 points. 23\u2019s 54, Rich Deecken\u2019s Team 38 In this contest, the 23\u2019s displayed a well-rounded offense having each player score. Akil Hodge led the game in scoring with 13 points, and Matthew Pine led the Deecken\u2019s with 12. Minutemen 52, Dirty Mike and the Boys 46 The Minutemen came out victorious thanks to some sharp-shooting by Alex Kennedy, who had 3 three-point baskets in the second half. The Minutemen were able to win against the forward-center duo of Chris McBride and Ryan Cosenza, who each scored in double figures for Dirty Mike and the Boys. The play of the night went to Hodge, who soared above the rim for an emphatic put-back following an offensive rebound. Ryan Nolan rebounded and scored 22 points for Los Blenders, but it wasn\u2019t enough to take down the 23\u2019s. Minutemen 63, Gulash and Riccio 44 Johnny Diaz was difficult to defend throughout the game, scoring 20 points including some deep three-point buckets for Minutemen (6-2). Kennedy caught fire in the second half, making 3 three-point baskets in the final two minutes. Gene Cherry scored 14 points for Gulash and Riccio, who fell to 3-5 after the loss. The two teams will face-off again in the first round of the playoffs. Dirty Mike and the Boys 43, Ballaholics 37 The first game on Wednesday night showcased solid defense from both teams, but Dirty Mike and the Boys came out on top. The Federales were able to get their first win of the season, finally playing with a full roster. Faye and Kevin Komarmi each had eight points in the low-scoring affair, but the Federales relied on defense in this contest. Deia Nassar had 10 points for Deecken\u2019s team and John Dawson had nine in defeat. Deecken\u2019s (0-8) will face off with the 23\u2019s in the playoffs.
