Tie for Tuesday Bowling League lead

Tashua Knolls Senior Men’s Club Bowling at the Nutmeg Lanes on Jan. 28, started the second half of the season and Team 10 (Ray Williams, Jerry Orsini, Bob Wolfe and Hank Giannini) and Team 18 (Lou Rybar, Charlie Clark, Tom Constantino and Matty Martiro) share first place.

The high scratch single was Ray Saksa with 245 and John Verdeschi, the three game series of 656.

Dennis Russell had the single game with handicap of 264 and Verdeschi the series with handicap of 686.

The league’s individual high average is Verdeschi at 191.

The Friday League as of Jan. 31 has Team 12 (John Annick, Lou Scanzillo, Bob Tomasko, Sam Cicalo and Matty Martiro) in first place by two points.

Martiro had the high scratch single at 243 and Saska, the three game series with 627.

Ralph Thornton had the single game with handicap at 270, and also the series with handicap at 722. Jack Cutting had a three game series with handicap of 715.

Carl Bluestein is the league’s individual high average leader at 182.
