The Tashua Knolls Women's Nine Holers held its end of season banquet last Thursday at the Mill River Country Club in Stratford.

President Janet Melfi began the luncheon with an expression of gratitude for the very successful season enjoyed by league members and extended again the appreciation of all members to those who contributed time and effort toward its success.

A special tribute to Kris Milkus was offered by Chris Plumeau of Tashua Knolls, who described the years of selfless generosity on the part of Milkus toward young golfers who had not the financial or geographical ability to have both lessons and exposure to the game of golf.

The Nine Holers later witnessed the swearing in of officers for the 2018 season.
