Trumbull United Soccer’s TOPSoccer provides students who have disabilities and/or special needs the opportunity to learn and play soccer in a structured and fun environment.

Players are assigned a buddy, who will assist them in learning the game of soccer. All new players receive a uniform and ball.

The program is for children 3-19 years old and meets for six weeks on Saturday from 3 to 4 p.m. beginning April 26 at Kaechele Park (adjacent to Madison Middle School in Trumbull).

The cost is $35 with discounts for multiple players and scholarships are available.

The program fosters the physical and emotional growth and development of America’s youth through the sport of soccer at all levels.

It takes kids from the sidelines and gets them into the game. The players will develop a sense of community and will learn what it is to be part of a team. The program will improve their social skills, fitness and self-esteem. But most importantly, the players will have fun.
