Equipment Soccer Swap Saturday

Trumbull's 6th annual Soccer Swap will take place on Saturday, April 19 and Saturday, April 26, at Kaechele Field in Trumbull from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. to benefit Trumbull United Soccer Club's TOPSoccer program, which helps kids with disabilities learn and play soccer. Cleats and other equipment will be available at low prices. The website for donations is Drop boxes locations for outsized and useable equipment through Apil 26, are located at Trumbull Elementary Schools, Trumbull Library, Trumbull Recreation Building and Newtown Savings Bank (Trumbull).

The Soccer Swap is designed and administered by US Youth Soccer. The money raised with the Soccer Swap over the years has been able to keep the TOPSoccer program going.

The community benefits by being able to find good quality soccer equipment that is gently used for very reasonable prices. At the same time the money raised benefits the community with the local chapter of TOPSoccer.

The local chapter started out with approximately 20 athletes and has since grown to more than 75 participants. See for more details about the local chapter.
