The Tashua Knolls Senior Men’s Club Tuesday Bowling League results at the Nutmeg Lanes for Oct. 21, finds Team 11 (John Cowan, Jerry Orsini, Bob Oleyar and Bob Burke) now in first place by eight points.

The high scratch single was Ken Kanyuck with 241 and Bob Flemming the three game series of 579. Kanyuck also had the single game with handicap of 290 and the series with handicap at 709.

The league’s individual high average is John Verdeschi at 186 and Jack Bottaro the high individual match points of 29.

Also at the Nutmeg Lanes, the Friday League on Oct. 24 had Team 13 (Joe Bartomeli, Tony Cornell, Mike Bartolotta and Ernie Santo) in first place by two points.

Jack Cutting had the high scratch single of 247 and Art Pranger had the high scratch series of 626. Cutting had the single game with handicap of 304 and Pranger had the series with handicap of 704.

The league’s initial individual with high average is Joe Campion at 200.

In earlier action, the Tuesday League results for Oct. 14 saw Team 11 (John Cowan, Jerry Orsini, Bob Oleyar and Bob Burke) in first place by three points.

The high scratch single was Burke with 226 and John Verdeschi, the three game series of 585. Burke had the single game with handicap of 258 and Peter Pappas the series with handicap at 689.

The Friday League began on Oct. 17. Four teams started out with a sweep. They were Team 2 (Joe Gallucci, Jerry Orsini, Sam Cicalo and Ron Fitzsimons), Team 7 (Jim Rainey, Dick Volpe, Roy Green and Ray Saksa), Team 11 ( Matt D’Amico, Paul Schuerlein, Gerry Cordone and Bob Burke) and Team 13 (Joe Bartomeli, Tony Cornell, Mike Bartolotta and Ernie Santo).

Angelo Cordone had the high scratch single of 228 and Joe Campion had the high scratch series with 599. Fitzsimons had the single game with handicap of 253 and Volpe had the series with handicap of 691.
