Races tighten in Senior Men's Club bowling
Tashua Knolls Senior Men’s Club Bowling has three weeks remaining in the 2014-15 season.
The Tuesday League results at the Nutmeg Lanes on April 14, has Team 7 (Jim Frisino, Gary Robenseifer, John Campbell and Bob Flemming) in first place by 12 points.
Noel Gabrielle had the high scratch single of 247, and the three game series of 659.
Ray Saksa and Jim Rainey each had a single game with handicap of 264 and Mike Bartolotta had the series with handicap of 713 while Jim Rainey had 712.
The league’s individual high average is John Verdeschi at 194 and Joe Goodwin is the high individual match points leader with 112 points.
With three weeks to go, at the Nutmeg Lanes, the Friday League on April 17 has Team 11 (Matt D’Amico, John Cappello, Paul Schuerlein and Noel Gabrielle) and Team 13 (Joe Bartomeli, Tony Cornell, Mike Bartolotta and Ernie Santo) tied for first place.
There are only 10 points separating the first- and eight-place teams.
Lou Viglione had the high scratch single of 224 and Carl Bluestein had the high scratch series of 576.
Viglione had the single game with handicap of 257 and the series with handicap of 654.
The league’s individual high average is Mingo DaCosta with a 193 average.
