Men's League in third week
The Trumbull Men’s Basketball League moved into the third week of the season with the 23’s, the Minutemen, Dirty Mike and the Boys, and Law Offices of Gulash and Riccio posting victories.
The 23’s improved to 3-0 thanks to some impressive second-half shooting by Matt Cardinale, who led the game with 15 points, in their 58-49 victory over Ballaholics.
The Minutemen got their first win of the young season with 17 points from David Klein and a barrage of three-point baskets in the second half of their 69-42 win over Komarmi’s Team.
Dirty Mike and the Boys defeated Los Blenders, 39-25, in a low-scoring affair. John Rolleri starred in the contest, scoring 15 points and grabbing 10-plus rebounds.
Law Offices of Gulash and Riccio defeated Rich Deecken’s Team, 51-36.
This Wednesday night matchup resulted in a victory for the Gulash and Riccio squad. In defeat, Deia Nassar scored a game high 22 points, which is also the league high total so far.
