Matty Martiro takes control of Friday League

Tashua Knolls Senior Men’s Club Bowling at the Nutmeg Lanes as of Feb. 21, has Team 18 (Lou Rybar, Charlie Clark, Tom Constantino and Matty Martiro) increasing its first place lead in the Tuesday League to four points.

The high scratch single was Carl Bluestein with 229 and John Verdeschi, the three game series of 620.

Bluestein had the single game with handicap of 249 and Dennis Russell the series with handicap of 689.

The league’s individual high average is Verdeschi with 193.

As of Feb. 28, the Friday League has Team 12 (John Annick, Lou Scanzillo, Bob Tomasko, Sam Cicalo and Matty Martiro) see its first place lead reduced to four points.

Martiro had the high scratch single at 269 and the three game series with 632.  He did it all and had the single game with handicap at 289 and the series with handicap at 692 (Joe Eramo had a 670).

Bluestein is the league’s individual high average leader at 186.
