Fishing 101 for families through Trumbull Nature and Arts Center

The Trumbull Nature and Arts Center (TNAC), located at 7115 Main St., Rt. 25, is offering the following program.

Fishing 101

Saturday, June 21, 9-11 a.m. — This third annual workshop is designed for families who want to experience fishing, but are unsure where to start. Topics include how to select a body of water, what bait to use, how to use a strong knot, how to cast your bait and how to identify certain freshwater fish.

Note: A limited number of fishing equipment will be available. If you have your own, bring it with you.

Cost: $7; All ages. Ages 6-12 require a caregiver present.
