Elsie Ambler Tournament a success

The Tashua Knolls Women’s Golf Association’s Elsie Ambler Tournament was held at Tashua Knolls on June 25.

This yearly event is in memory of Ambler and all the other members of our group that have passed on.

She was a special women, one of the charter members of the 18 holers that truly enjoyed the game of golf and the beauty of the course.

The winner of this year's event was Diane Cooper with a net 68.

Second place went to Janet Duffy with a net 69.

Sue Devol was third with a net 71.

A luncheon followed.

If you are a golfer and would like to join the 18 holers, you do not have to be a town resident. We play on Thursday mornings and Zel Finkenstadt is our membership chairman.
