Close games mark week four play

The Ballaholics secured their third win of the season on Monday beating Rich Deecken’s Team, 48-44, in Trumbull Men’s Basketball League week four action.

The main catalysts in the Ballaholic’s victory were Johnny White and Eric Snyder, who each scored 17 points.

Deia Nassar again broke the 20-point mark, scoring 21 points in defeat.

Los Blenders 42

In another close Monday night game, the Minutemen came out on top.

Thanks to some clutch shooting by David Klein, who scored 18 points, the Minutemen secured their second victory of the season.

Leading Los Blenders in scoring, Pat Lupinacci played well with 11 points.

Dirty Mike and the Boys 46,

Kevin Komarmi’s Team 24

In this Wednesday night showdown, Dirty Mike and Boys stifled Komarmi’s team with swarming defense.

Brad Desouza played well in the game, scoring 12 of his 14 points in the first half.

Mike Zerella fought hard to keep his team in the game with 11 points, but his efforts were no match for the tenacious defense of Dirty Mike and the Boys.

The final game of the week brought a match up of the league’s only undefeated team, the 23’s, and the Law Offices of Gulash and Riccio.

Although the game was close in the first half, the 23’s pulled away thanks to accurate shooting by Kyle Lieberman, who scored 19 points.
