Bowling titles going down to the wire
The Friday League championship will be determined on the last day of bowling, May 9, and as of May 2, Team 12, made up of John Annick, Lou Scanzillo, Bob Tomasko, Sam Cicalo and Matty Martiro held the lead by one point.
Greg Babash had the high scratch single of 212, Carl Bluestein the three game series with 597, Dom Ferranti the single game with handicap at 255 and Jim Rainey the series with handicap at 659.
Bluestein is the league’s individual high average leader at 184.
In Tuesday League action as of April 29 at the Nutmeg Lanes, Team 10’s Ray Williams, Jerry Orsini, Hank Giannini and Bob Wolfe regained first place by five points.
Matty Maturo had the high scratch single of 226. Bob Wolfe took the three game series of 585 and the single game with handicap of 252. Gary Robenseifer had the series with handicap of 684.
John Verdeschi is the league’s individual high average with 194.
