Bowling: Grande sweeps Tuesday honors

Tashua Knolls Senior Men’s Club Bowling’s Tuesday League at the Nutmeg Lanes on March 8 saw Team 6 (Dave Martini, Mark Ryan, Bob Oleyar and Ron Vitale) had its first place lead cut to 27 points.

Angelo Grande, did it all, in sweeping all of the top individual awards, i.e. the high scratch single of 259, the single game with handicap of 294, the three game scratch series of 688, and the high series with handicap of 793.

The league individual high average is Ernie Santo at 190 and the high individual match point leader is Dave Martini with 100 points.

At the Nutmeg Lanes on March 11, the Friday League has Team 1 (Alan Careddu, Charlie Clark, George Warner and Art Pranger) move back into first place by four points.

Ken Kanyuck bowled the high scratch single of 256 and the single game with handicap of 298. Angelo Grande had the three game scratch series of 667 and Ray Anderson had the series with handicap of 765.

The league’s high average individual is Noel Gabrielle with a 217.
