Bowling: DeLorenzo, Gabrielle, Grande lead way

The Tashua Knolls Senior Men’s Club Bowling Tuesday League on Sept. 29 has a new team (Team 4 – Dominic Ferranti, Dick Stein, John Campbell and George Warner) in first place with a two-point lead in action at the Nutmeg Lanes.

The high scratch single of 233 was rolled by Rocky DeLorenzo, and the three game series of 614 by Matty Martiro. The single game with handicap was also by DeLorenzo at 295, who also topped the series with handicap at 756.

At the Nutmeg Lanes, the Friday League got off to a rousing start on Oct. 2, as seven teams began the season by winning all seven points and are tied for first place.

Noel Gabrielle had the high scratch single of 268 and Angelo Grande had the high scratch series of 746. Gabrielle also had the single game with handicap of 289, while Grande had the series with handicap of 815.

The initial high average individual is Grande with a 249.
