Bowling: Charlie Clark in first on 100th birthday
Tashua Knolls Senior Men’s Club Bowling at the Nutmeg Lanes for the Tuesday League on Dec. 29, Team 9 (Jim Frisino, Charlie Clark, Paul Schuerlein and Tony Viglione) celebrated Charlie Clark’s 100 year birthday by winning the first half by seven points.
Guy Favreau bowled the high scratch single of 279, Ray Saska had the three game series of 678, Angelo Grande had the high single with handicap of 312 and Joe Alacron had the series with handicap of 823.
The league’s individual high average is Guy Favreau at 190 and the high individual match point leaders were Joe Alacron, Ron Fitzsimmons and John Cowan all with 62 points.
At the Nutmeg Lanes the Friday League will restart its bowling on Jan. 8, with Team 19 (Mark Ryan, Jerry Orsini, Ken Kanyuck and Ray Saska) alone in first place by one point, four points ahead of the fifth place team.
