Softball players from across Connecticut are coming together June 29-30 to help raise funds to open the first Cancer Support Community in Southern Connecticut.

Funds raised at the CSC Co-Ed Softball Tournament will be used to offer free cancer support and education for patients and their families living with cancer.

The tournament, at Tom Haydon Field in Fairfield, is open to any co-ed team with a minimum of ten players, one-third of whom must be women.

There is no maximum number of players a team may have. The per team entry fee is $300, all of which will benefit the Cancer Support Community. The minimum age for players is sixteen. Admission for non-players is free.
