Cross country: CHS sweeps Hamden Hall

The Christian Heritage School of Trumbull’s cross country teams fared well in an early season dual meet at Hamden Hall on Monday.

In the boys race, Mitchell Modarelli led the race from start to finish and was followed in by teammates Matt Bruening and Connor Hartman as the Kingsmen knocked off a close rival.

The girls  race featured a start-to-finish lead by Claire Parrish and close competition from teammates Abby Slater (second) and Lydia Kellogg (third).

The official meet result had the boys winning 26-30, and the girls winning 18-43.
