The Christian Heritage School of Trumbull’s girls varsity soccer team had its undefeated streak of eight games snapped Wednesday against the Macduffie School from MA. by a score of 1-0.
CHS was on its heels early in the first half, but played great defensively throughout with a number of great saves from goalkeeper Soph Luft.
CHS had a handful of opportunities during the first half, but couldn’t find the back of the net. The second half started with a much more even back and forth between the two teams.
Macduffie was able to break the tie 13 minutes into the second half with a goal off a corner kick.
CHS turned up the pressure throughout the second half, but were unable to get the equalizer.
CHS drops to 7-3-1 and is off until next Wednesday when it hosts Marvelwood School out of Kent.
