The winter sports season is winding down in Trumbull, as Trumbull High School and St. Joseph High School are battling the best competition around.

Here is a list of varsity events going on for Wednesday. As always, check with your athletic department for any changes to dates and times (home games are in bold):

Trumbull High School

Boys Basketball: vs. Stamford High School, 7 p.m.

Girls Basketball: at Stamford High School, 7 p.m.

Boys Ice Hockey: at Westhill High School (at Terry Conners), 8:10 p.m.

St. Joseph High School

Boys Basketball: vs. Trinity Catholic High School, 7 p.m.

Girls Basketball: at Trinity Catholic High School, 7 p.m.

Boys Ice Hockey: at New Canaan High School (Darien Ice Rink), 4 p.m.

Gymnastics: at Daniel Hand High School, 6 p.m.
