Watch on demand: St. Joe's FCIAC quarters nail-biter

Did you miss Saturday's St. Joseph-Ridgefield FCIAC quarterfinals boys ice hockey game?

Don't worry because Hersam Acorn got it all on video.

Hersam Acorn Network and HANRadio.com, in partnership with NFHS Network, was testing out its new video streaming service for high school sports during both games at Terry Conners Rink in Stamford. Hersam Acorn will be offering live video coverage of the boys FCIAC semifinals this Wednesday, March 4.

The southwestern Connecticut media company paired up its play-by-play audio from HAN Radio — which has been the voice of Hersam Acorn's sports and news coverage for more than a year — with a multi-camera coverage of the FCIAC girls' championship hockey game and the Ridgefield-St. Joseph FCIAC boys ice hockey quarterfinal.

The live sporting events and archived video are available for a subscription fee, which varies based on how long you want access to Hersam Acorn's content on the NFHS Network. Part of the subscription fee will benefit the ongoing operations of the Fairfield County Interscholastic Athletic Conference (FCIAC),  its member schools and student athletes.
You can watch the archived games at http://www.nfhsnetwork.com/affiliates/hersam-acorn/.

A subscription (beyond the 24-hour option) would give you access to Wednesday's live FCIAC boys ice hockey semifinals featuring Darien vs. New Canaan and Greenwich vs. St. Joseph.

The Hersam Acorn Network and HANRadio.com are part of Hersam Acorn, which covers the news, arts and sports of 18 towns in Connecticut and Westchester Couny, N.Y.
