Ridgefield defeated Trumbull High, 3-2, in the FCIAC girls volleyball opener for each team on Thursday.
The Tigers (2-0) won the first two games, the Eagles (2-1) rallied back to tie, before the fifth set went to Ridgefield 15-10.
