
Trumbull High dominated the annual Freshman Sophmore Girls Track & Field Invitational held at Darien High School on May 14.
Coach Jim McCaffrey’s team placed first overall, out pointing New Canaan, Greenwich, Fairfield Warde, Weston and Darien.
Sophomore Gesica Scaccia was the top point scorer for the Eagles.
Trumbull’s freshman Ashley Storino placed first overall as FCIAC best freshman in track.
Sophmore Katelynn Romanchick received top honors as FCIAC best sophomore in track
Nicole Baker earned FCIAC top sophomore in field events.
Trumbull also came in first in the 4x300, with Scaccia, Storino, Sara Carlson and Stephanie Kokenos receiving an award for their first-place finish.
