The Trumbull High girls track team defeated Westhill from Stamford 115-35, but lost to Danbury High, 85-65, on a cold windy Monday afternoon in Danbury.
Coach Jim McCaffery’s Eagles (3-3) had a strong showing in middle distance with Kate Romanchick placing first, Sydney Adams second and Ashley Storino third in the 1600.
Romanchick also placed first in the 3200 with Adams finishing second overall.
Ashley Storino was third in the 800. Haley Mockler was second in the high jump and third in the 400 and 200.
Top placing field events included Tara Oliver first in the javelin, with Gabriela Misewicz second.
Trumbull also had a solid performance in discus with top three finishers: Oliver, Lisa Gianni and Nicole Baker.
Oliver was second in the pole vault and Andrea Veilleux third.
