Trumbull High placed 13th at the FCIAC Girls Swimming Championships on Saturday.

Greenwich won the team title, followed by New Canaan and Staples.

Senior Sophia Bragg placed sixth in the 100 butterfly to lead the Eagles.

Sophomore Regan Ryan was 10th and classmate Ashleigh Piro 15th in the event.

Trumbull’s 200 medley relay team of sophomore Mia Zajac, sophomore Julia Nevins, Bragg and Ryan finished seventh.

Senior Nancie Ziegler placed seventh in the 500 freestyle and 11th in the 200 freestyle.

Bragg, senior Elisabeth Stankevitz, Ryan and Zajac took eighth in the 200 freestyle relay.

Ryan was ninth in the 200 intermediate medley and Piro was 15th.

The 400 freestyle relay team of Ziegler, Karina Walsh, Nevins and Piro finished 10th.

Bragg placed 13th in the 50 freestyle and Zajac was 16th.

Nevins was 16th in the 100 freestyle and the 100 breaststroke.

Zajac was 16th in the 100 backstroke.

Trumbull’s Katelyn Cerulli was ninth with a score of 384.90 in the diving competition held on Friday. Natalie Smerling placed 13th and Olivia Grecco 16th.
