The winter sports season is underway in Trumbull, as Trumbull High School and St. Joseph High School are battling the best competition around.

Here is a list of varsity events going on for Thursday. As always, check with your athletic department for any changes to dates and times (home games are in bold):

Trumbull High School

Boys & Girls Indoor Track: vs. FCIAC championships (at New Haven Athletic Center), 4:30 p.m.

St. Joseph High School

Boys & Girls Indoor Track: vs. FCIAC championships (at New Haven Athletic Center), 4:30 p.m.

Gymnastics: vs. Greenwich, Westhill, New Canaan, Fairfield Warde (at Greenwich YWCA), 6 p.m.
