St. Joseph defeated top-seeded Lewis Mills, 19-4, on Saturday to earn a spot in the Class S boys lacrosse semifinals.

Coach Joe Izzo’s eighth-seeded Cadets (13-5) will play fifth-seeded Northwest Catholic (14-4) at 7:15 p.m. on Wednesday, June 11 at Cheshire High.

Mike Sudora scored seven goals and had an assist for St. Joseph, which extended a 4-2 lead after one period to 11-3 at the half.

Josiah Wilson led the attack with nine assists to go with a goal, as Lewis Mills finished at 17-1

Preston Ouellette, Peter Bashar and Ryan Corcoran had three goals each.

Jeff Marcantonio had two goals to go with four assists. Bashar, Ouellette and Mike Brennan had assists.

Mike Braddick had five saves.
