Subscribe now for FCIAC playoff pay-per-view games
The HAN Network is your home for FCIAC postseason sports, which will include the championships for seven high school sports: Cross country, boys soccer, girls soccer, field hockey, volleyball and football. You can watch all the playoff action at http://championships.han.network/ .
The postseason matchups be available live as pay-per-view events. You can either get a 24-hour pass to the live video streams from the HAN Network for $7.50 — or buy the entire playoff package for $25 if purchased before Thursday, Oct. 29. The playoff package costs $35 if you purchase it on after Thursday, Oct. 29. With the subscription, you can also watch the contests on-demand. On-demand broadcasts become free 72 hours after the event. A portion of this money goes back to the FCIAC for its operations and to support high school athletics in Fairfield County.
Here's a quick rundown of the schedule by date, time, sport, round of playoffs, and location (schedule subject to change if weather postpones any games):

HAN kicks off its championships coverage with the 17-school FCIAC Cross Country Championships live from Waveny Park in New Canaan on Wednesday, Oct. 21. HAN’s coverage will include all the races that day and interviews with the winning runners.
Team sport coverage starts with a boys soccer quarterfinal match on Thursday, Oct. 29. Once the seeds for the boys soccer tournament are announced, HAN will announce which game we’ll cover live that day.
The postseason coverage continues on Monday, Nov. 2, with an FCIAC boys soccer semifinal doubleheader live from Fairfield Ludlowe’s Taft field. The games are scheduled for 5 and 7 p.m. that night. If you buy the single-game access from HAN that day, you’ll get to see both games.
On Tuesday, Nov. 3, HAN will have both FCIAC field hockey semifinals in a live doubleheader from Dunning Field at New Canaan High School at 5 p.m. and 7 p.m.
The team sport championships begin On Wednesday, Nov. 4, with both the girls and boys soccer finals, live from Norwalk High School’s Testa Field. The girls kick off at 4:30 p.m. and the boys at 7 p.m. that Wednesday.
The field hockey championship will be played Thursday, Nov. 5, at McMahon’s Casagrande Field at 7 p.m. and carried live on the HAN Network’s pay-per-view website.
After a regular season football game, broadcast for free on Friday, Nov. 6, volleyball will debut on the HAN Network on Saturday, Nov. 7. The girls volleyball championship is at 4 p.m. on Saturday at Fairfield Ludlowe High School.
There are two postseason football games scheduled for HAN pay-per-view coverage. The FCIAC championship on Saturday, Nov. 21, at Stamford High School’s Boyle Stadium (game time is yet to be announced).
HAN will also be covering the annual Turkey Bowl between New Canaan and Darien live from Darien High School on Thanksgiving morning, Thursday, Nov. 26, at 10 a.m. Twice since 2008, Darien and New Canaan have qualified for the FCIAC Football Championship, which turns the Turkey Bowl into the FCIAC championship.
The HAN Network, formerly known as Hersam Acorn Newspapers, is the exclusive FCIAC broadcast partner through the spring of 2018. HAN Network’s broadcasting division replaced HANRadio.com with a new focus on live video streams of high school athletics along with the Network’s news and lifestyle programming.
