St. Joseph tops Trumbull to remain unbeaten in FCIAC

The St. Joseph girls volleyball team defeated Trumbull High, 3-1 (25-21, 25-21, 17-25, 25-22) at home on Friday.

Coach Jeff Babineau’s Cadets improved to 10-0 in the FCIAC and are 13-1 overall.

Coach Tamara DeBerry’s Eagles are now 8-4 and 6-4 in the FCIAC.

St. Joseph’s Bridget Fatse had 14 kills.

Christina Crocco added 11 kills and five aces.

Elena Ball compiled eight kills to go along with two aces and one block.

Grace Vocalina racked up 33 assists, one kill and one ace.

For Trumbull, Krystina Schueler notched 18 kills and four blocks.

Ally Nielsen registered 24 assists, 17 digs and 11 service points.

Julia Roberto had 11 kills, two blocks and a trio of digs.

Becca Lubbert tallied 22 digs.
