Coach Joe Della Vecchia’s Cadets bring a 6-2 record into their home game, with hopes of gaining a sport in the Class M playoffs with a victory. St. Joseph currently sits seventh in the eight-team field.

Coach Bob Maffei’s Eagles are 5-3 on the season. They are seeded 12th in Class LL.

St. Joseph averages 159 yards passing and 190 yard rushing per game.

Quarterback Cory Babineau has thrown for 1,220 yards with 13 touchdowns and two interceptions. The junior has ran for 200 yards and four scores.

Christian Trefz is the Cadets’ do-everything go-to guy. A senior, Trefz has rushed for 1,134 yards and 15 touchdowns. He has caught 38 passes for 392 yards and three more scores.

Kevin Trefz has 171 yards rushing with a touchdown. He has 24 receptions good for 293 yards and four touchdowns.

Colton Lillemoe has 15 catches for 243 yards and three scores. Liam Seperack has caught 14 passes for 179 yards and two touchdowns.

Nick DiCairano is 31-for-34 on conversion kicks and has booted a 27-yard field goal.

The Cadets’ defenses has accounted for 15 quarterback sacks and 10 interceptions.

Cameron Ryan leads in tackles with 76, including 2.5 sacks. Mike Jones has 7.5 sacks on 40 stops.

Brian Harner (42), Jude Andrzejewski (37) and Adam Derbyshire (36) are other top tacklers.

Trumbull’s offense is averaging 200 yards passing and 91 yards on the ground.

Johnny McElroy has thrown for 1,766 yards and 19 touchdowns with eight interceptions.

Markeese Woods is the top ground gainer with 588 yards and 10 touchdowns.

Danny Hoffmann has run the ball for 104 yards and two scores.

Hoffmann is the main threat in the passing game with 65 catches, 798 yards and seven touchdowns.

Peter Raverta is a deep threat with 12 catches for 319 yards and five scores. Dustin Siqueria has caught 11 passes for 187 yards and three touchdowns.

Ryan Cranston is an accurate place kicker.

The Trumbull defense has registered 15 quarterback sacks and 10 interceptions.

Jonathan DeRosa has four interceptions and Troy Murray two.
