Darien, Greenwich, Ridgefield and New Canaan will be the top four seeds and the home teams when the FCIAC boys lacrosse tournament gets underway with the quarterfinal round on Friday.

Darien earned the No. 1 seed with a conference record of 11-0, followed by No. 2 Greenwich (10-1), No. 3 Ridgefield (10-1), and No. 4 New Canaan (9-2).

The visiting teams for the quarterfinals will be No. 5 Staples (9-2), No. 6. St. Joseph (6-5), No. 7 Warde (6-5), and No. 8 McMahon (7-4).

FCIAC quarterfinals – Friday, May 23

No. 8 McMahon at No. 1 Darien (DHS Turf Field #2), 4 p.m.

No. 5 Staples at No. 4 New Canaan, 4 p.m.

No. 7 Warde at No. 2 Greenwich, 6 p.m.

No. 6 St. Joseph at No. 3 Ridgefield, TBA

The FCIAC semifinals will be held at 5 and 7:30 p.m., Tuesday, May 27, at Brien McMahon HS, with the championship game scheduled for 7 p.m., Friday, May 30, also at BMHS.
