St. Joseph posted a pair of three-run rallies and scored a 6-3 FCIAC softball decision over Trumbull High on Monday. The Cadets are 12-0 and Trumbull 8-4.

Lauren Blose doubled to lead off the home third. Lauren Pitney and Mikaela Mallozzi loaded the bases with one-out singles, before Tori Cebellos dropped a single on the foul line in right to plate a pair. Mallozzi scored on a misplayed cutoff.

Trumbull’s Megan Thaler singled to open the fourth and pinch-runner Marisa Valenti scored when Samantha Platz’s fly to the outfield resulted in a collision.

St. Joseph upped its lead to 6-1 in the fourth, with Madeline Meir driving in one with a pinch-hit single. Pitney followed with a two-run double.

Trumbull tallied twice in the sixth. Thaler doubled in a run and Nicole Palmer’s grounder brought home the other.
