Nick DiSabella scored two goals and the St. Joseph High boys hockey team put together a 3-2 victory over Branford on Thursday.

The Cadets completed their regular season at 10-8-1. The Hornets are 13-5.

DiSabella’s first goal came at the 14:03 mark of the first period with Filippo Petrini getting the assist.

St. Joseph added two more goals in the second period. Chris Kirven scored at 4:15 and DiSabella at 7:44. Will Folesi and Andrew Gilbert assisted on the first goal and Justice Cook on the second.

Branford received unassisted goals from Aiden Deane (2:02) and Tyler Criscuolo (7:09) in the third.

Dylan Batterson had 19 saves for the Cadets. Branford’s A.J. Brink had 21 stops.
