St. Joseph boys hockey team forfeits tonight's game against Darien
Due to events that transpired during Saturday's boys ice hockey game between St. Joseph High School and Trinity Catholic, tonight's game at the Darien Ice Rink against Darien High School has been forfeited by the Cadets.
During Saturday's game, which took place at the Terry Conners Ice Rink, several Cadets were involved in a scuffle with Crusader athletes. With St. Joseph leading 3-0 at the end of the second period, the referees decided to end the game early.
Several athletes from both St. Joe's and Trinity were ejected from the game, which means that the Cadets would have been shorthanded in its game that was originally scheduled for tonight with the Blue Wave.
We will have more information about the events as they become available.
