Trinity College softball player and senior co-captain Erica Quinones from Trumbull was named New England Small College Athletic Conference second-team.

Quinones led the team with a .426 on base percentage, to go along with a .354 batting average and a .495 slugging percentage. She drove in 24 runs, with eight doubles and two home runs while drawing 14 walks. She was second on the team with 35 hits and had 16 runs scored.

A graduate of Trumbull High, Quinones is a two-time NESCAC All-Academic honoree and is majoring in biology at Trinity. She is the daughter of Annie and Daniel Quinones.

The Bantams posted an 18-14 record and a 6-6 mark in the NESCAC East Division. Trinity qualified for the league tournament for the first time since 2011, falling at Williams, 10-2, and against Amherst, 4-3, in its two postseason games.
