The Trumbull High football team won for the second straight week, when coach Bob Maffei’s Eagles defeated Stamford High, 42-6, on Friday night.

Nick Roberts threw for four touchdowns, including a 17-yarder to Thomas Hayduk to give Trumbull (2-1) a 7-0 lead after one quarter.

Quentin Brunetti for 6 yards, Eric Anderson from 33 yards out and Hayduk from 19 caught scoring passes in the second period.

Marc Cesare tacked on a 28-yard touchdown run, an Lance Bragg made all five conversion kicks.

Stephen Nagy threw a 20-yard touchdown pass to Jake Haslam in the fourth quarter.

Stamford (0-3) got on the board last on Cameron Webb’s 35-yard run.
