Trumbull High defeated Stamford High, 5-2, in softball on May 14.

Samantha Platz drove in four runs, as coach Cary Nadel’s Eagles upped their mark to 11-5 overall and 10-4 in the FCIAC.

Harleigh Kaczegowicz had a single, a triple and scored a run.

Emily Clark had a hit and scored two runs.

Kristine Liptack had a hit, a run scored and an RBI.
