St. Joseph High’s James Mas and Trumbull High’s Kate Romanchick and Charlie Taubl earned All-FCIAC honors following fine runs at the FCIAC cross country championships held at New Canaan’s Waveny Park on Wednesday.

Mas placed ninth with a time of 16:09 to earn first-team all-conference honors.

Romanchick took 12th in 15:31 to garner a position on the first team.

Taubl’s time of 16:26 was good for 15th place and a spot on the All-FCIAC first team.

The top 15 finishers make first team; the second 15 second team.

Trumbull freshman Chris Alegi finished 26th overall and made second- team All-FCIAC.

The Trumbull boys team placed fifth overall with a score of 164. Danbury won the team competition, followed by Staples (74), Warde (99) and Ridgefield (131).

The Trumbull girls team took ninth (234). Ridgefield (33), Staples (70), Wilton (90) and Greenwich (99) took the top four spots.
