The St. Joseph High baseball team lost a 10-2 decision to Fairfield Ludlowe in the FCIAC quarterfinals on Monday.

Sixth-seeded Ludlowe scored five runs in the top of the fourth inning to snap a 2-2 tie.

The third-seeded Cadets were led at the plate by Ryan Moran, who hit a sole home run to leadoff a two-run third inning, and Jake Amoroso, who added an RB single later in the frame.

Ludlowe will play seventh-seeded Danbury in the semifinals at 5 p.m. at Harbor Yard.
