Lorraine Dedrick from Trumbull scored a pair of goals when the Centenary College (N.J.) women’s soccer team defeated Cedar Crest, 9-1, on Oct. 3.

A sophomore, Dedrick netted the Cyclones’ sixth goal of the first half with just four minutes remaining and added a second goal in the 61st minute.

The two-goal effort was the second of her career. Dedrick, who is primarily a defender, has appeared in five games this fall, including four starts. The goals were her first two of the season.

She started 16 of Centenary’s 17 matches as a freshman, collecting three goals and two assists for eight points.

The Cyclones compete at the NCAA Division III level.
