The Christian Heritage School of Trumbull’s girls varsity tennis team had an impressive 5-2 win over Forman School on Wednesday in Litchfield.
Both teams were undefeated going into the match. The CHS Kingsmen girls are now 5-0 for the season. CHS won 2-of-4 singles matches and all three doubles.
Cathy Sanner from CHS, coming back from a 5-2 deficit, defeated Chelsea Lamond 10-6.
Bella Christian played with very little errors and easily won 10-2.
The tandem then played a fantastic doubles match winning 8-4.
Hannah Smith and Emma Greer became the new doubles team to watch, as they battled with the score 8-8 to win a 7-5 tiebreak.
Kirstyn Lopiano was awesome at the net, as she Anais Anderson took the third doubles match.
The CHS Kingsmen girls will play Watkinson this Saturday at 3 p.m. at Tashua in Trumbull.
