Lacrosse: Trumbull's DeVito signs to play at Arizona State
Michael DeVito, a senior at Trumbull High School, has signed his National Letter of Intent to play lacrosse for the Arizona State University Sun Devils in Tempe, AZ.
Arizona State University (ASU) is an emerging West Coast powerhouse in lacrosse, having made it to the National Tournament the last eight years, and have been the Southwestern Lacrosse Conference champions four of those seasons.
At ASU, DeVito will be majoring in sports management and attending the W.P. Carey School of Business.
A Trumbull captain, DeVito has been playing varsity midfield for coach Jim Kammerman’s Eagles since his sophomore year.
He began playing lacrosse in 4th grade for the Trumbull Youth Lacrosse program (TYL).
His proud parents are Bruce and Annie DeVito of Trumbull. He is also cheered on by his two sisters, Nicole and Natalie.
