Greenwich boys hockey blanks Cadets, 3-0

The St. Joseph High boys ice hockey team lost to Greenwich High, 3-0, at the Dorothy Hamill Rink in Greenwich on Monday.

Brian Silard, from Ben Pratley, scored in the first period to give the Big Red, which completed their regular season with a 17-1-2 record, the lead.

Greenwich made it 2-0 on Kristian Cunningham’s goal at 13:22 of the second period. Montana Larson had the assist.

Matt Lodato’s goal at the 14:15 mark of the third period concluded the scoring.

St. Joseph, now 9-8-1, saw Dylan Batterson come up with 29 saves.

Bryan Archino had 27 stops for Greenwich.

St. Joseph will play host Branford on Thursday at 7 p.m. at the Rinks at Shelton.
