Golf: Alexa Brown earns Charity Classic scholarship

Seventeen junior golfers from 12 communities throughout the state were awarded scholarships at The Kennedy Center 25th annual Charity Golf Classic.

Selection is based upon academic achievement, school and community leadership, and golf proficiency.

This tournament raised over $32,700 for underfunded programs provided by The Kennedy Center for people with disabilities.
