The Christian Heritage School of Trumbull’s girls soccer team won in a last-minute thriller in NEPSAC action on Monday in Middlebury against Westover School  Both teams were back and forth throughout the game in the seesaw battle.

With less than 10 seconds left, CHS’ Ranita Muriel netted the game winner on a counterattack breakaway. The counter was quick as goalkeeper Soph Luft, who recorded the shutout, saved a shot from Westover and quickly punted the ball to get things started.

CHS moved to 3-1-2 on the season and will take on Watkinson School in Hartford on Wednesday.
