Girls soccer: Christian scores four goals for CHS

Christian Heritage School’s girls soccer team won its first game of the season with a 10-1 victory over the Marvelwood School on Saturday.

Marvelwood opened the scoring in the 10th minute to go up early, as the game was back and forth. CHS knocked on the door consistently after that, but it wasn’t until the 19th minute when Isabella Christian scored her first of four first-half goals (19, 25, 28 and 37th minutes).

About two minutes later Sophia Mammana scored the go-ahead goal.

Other goal scorers for CHS were (55’), Ranita Muriel (55’ and 57’), Lauren Prangley and Kirstyn Lopiano.

CHS is now 1-1 and will host Miss Hall’s on Wednesday afternoon.
