The Christian Heritage School of Trumbull’s girls soccer team defeated Chase, 2-0, on Saturday.

Throughout the first half, CHS was able to create multiple opportunities but was unable to find the back of the net.

It wasn't until midway through the second half that Rachel Cook was able to break the tie with a beautiful goal off a corner kick from Ranita Muriel.

Less than a minute later, Bella Christian added a goal to make it 2-0.

CHS continued to be dangerous offensively for the remainder of the game.

Goalkeeper Soph Luft came up with a few nice saves to keep the shutout in tact.

CHS is now 5-1-3 on the season and will return to action on Wednesday for a league game versus Wooster at Indian Ledge Park.
