The Christian Heritage School girls varsity soccer team defeated the Westover School, 3-1, at Indian Ledge on Monday.

It was 0-0 at the half as CHS had its opportunities, but were unable to capitalize in the opening half.

It took just three minutes in the second half for CHS to get on the board on a goal by Ranita Muriel.

The half was a back-and-forth battle, as goalie Soph Luft was able to keep CHS on top.

A second and third goal were added over the next 30 minutes, the second goal was scored by Mia Angelini and the third goal was scored by Rachel Cook.

The shutout was spoiled with just three minutes remaining.

CHS is now 5-1-1 on the season and will return to action on Wednesday.
